Our final look at Machu Picchu

All the windows and alcoves are trapezoid-shaped.  It is believed that

this helped protect stone structures from damage from earthquakes.

I never would have gone on any of my wonderful trips, except for these

exceptional people - Mark and Helen Blazis.
